New in box and still shrink wrapped The product is an IBM OS/2 Version 2.1 CD-ROM Upgrade Edition, specifically designed for upgrading older versions of IBM OS/2. This operating system runs on English language platforms with a minimum of 64 MB of RAM and a 66 MHz processor speed. It requires less than 50 MB of hard drive space and is compatible with one device. IBM PC-Dos 6.1 on 5.25″ HD disks. New. Disks only. Genuine. Similar to MS-Dos.

New IBM PC-Dos version 6.1 (5.25″ High Density 1.2mb disks only). The disks have never been removed from the plastic pouch but the plastic pouch was previously opened to remove the printed license agreement. This is the full version. No manual or documentation included. Also included is a used or new AS IS hardware item in order to comply with Ebay’s OEM software distribution requirements. Note #1: Disks indicate AUVA PC Dos 6.1 on them as well as IBM PC-Dos 6.1. Note #2: The disk sleeves which some of these PC Dos 6.1 disk sets come in say IBM on them (as shown in the photo). However, some of the disk sets have paper disk sleeves which say AUVA on them. Regardless, the software is the same. For old PC computers from the late 1980’s to early 1990’s. Not for newer computer systems due to potential hardware and software compatibility issues.

IBM PC DOS 6.1 Base Edition 61G1550 – Retail Big Box Version!

This is the full retail version – not an OEM or upgrade edition. In excellent condition all around – all of the literature appears to be there. The box has some shelf wear. The paper labels on 3 of the 4 3 1/2″ 1.44MB diskettes are discolored. They were like that when I removed the shrink wrap years ago. The diskettes are fully functional, I recently used them to install on a 386 computer.
